The Project is based on Dr. Richard Haass' book, The Bill of Obligations. Residents can engage in discussion, engagement, learning, living and participating in contests to demonstrate that we stand together and choose to live by the Ten Habits of Good Citizens.
We choose to live and engage with our friends, families, neighbors and our Chaffee County Community and cherish our common ground, the things that bind us together vs. tear us apart.
All residents are welcome to join in for this important and timely project!
1. Be Informed. Stay informed about local and state issues that affect our County.
2. Get Involved. Actively participate in community activities and initiatives that contribute to the betterment in Chaffee County.

4. Practice Civility. Engage with others in a respectful and civil manner fostering positive interactions for myself and within my community.
5. Reject Violence. Stand against violence and advocate for peaceful resolutions in Chaffee County.
